INSTRUCTIONS – CATAPULT.STX



There are 2 variations of motherboard panel coverage, and both use 3D printed standoffs that comply with the version 2.1 ATX specification (assuming standard tolerances with 3D printed parts):

Version 2.1 of the ATX specification states that the length of standoffs needs to be at least 0.25 inches (6.4 mm), with their cross sections fitting within 0.40 by 0.40 inches (10 mm × 10 mm) square areas centered around each mounting hole on ATX motherboards.

  • Provides access to rear mounted M.2 and CPU heatsink mounting hardware
  • Can be snubbed or standard
  • Can be snubbed or standard

The snubbed versions of motherboard trays allows full access to the following ports on the CrowPanel 5.0″-HMI ESP32 Display to be used in the front panel

  • 1* UART0
  • 2* GPIO
  • 2* I2C
  • Can be Full Cover or Cutout
  • Can be Full Cover or Cutout

Use a soldering iron to install M2.5 threaded inserts (3.5mm depth)
